We were in Hounslow for the night on our way back home to San Diego, California. Looking for some Indian food we wandered into Punjabi Chilli near our hotel. The staff warmly greeted us and made us feel at home. The food was excellent and just what we were hoping to find. We shared the chicken kabobs that were served on a sizzling platter with onions, the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala with rice. I would recommend this restaurant and certainly return when back in town.

Mixed feelings about this place. If you want a really good reasonably priced wholesome Indian meal - it's great. It's a bit 'canteen' style but the kebabs and grills are done for you fresh and not recooked. I'd recommend their lamb kebabs, chaat and pakorey. Do not however hire their hall upstairs for a private party - they are not ready as a business to handle that and have downstairs open at the same time. Good sign - it's always full of Punjabi's downstairs which is a big thumbs up in terms of authenticity.
